Blitz Docs

Sprinting | Request Methods

By default, Blitz uses GET for all the requests. But you change this easily with the --request option. For example:

-X POST -d 'hello=world' http://my.form.post/login

does a form POST to the specified URL, along with the data that is sent with a Content-Type of application/x-www-form-urlencoded.

Here's another example of adding a document to CouchDB (line breaks added for clarity)

-X PUT
-H 'Content-Type: application/json'
-d '{"hello":"world"}'
http://my.couch/somedatabase/some_doc_id

You can parameterize the POST data with Variables too!
